A fluent passing display saw Timperley continue their good run of form and run out 6-0 winners over a competitive, if younger, Alderley side.
With a number of regular players unavailable, this game provided a good opportunity for others to step into new or different positions. Notable performances were from Josie Hatton who took control at bottom of the diamond, skilfully playing in the space behind Wilf (who had another good game) and providing excellent distribution as well as effective defence when needed. Kamol Stanford also showed some good attacking flair on both wings and combined well with the midfield and other forwards to create a number of chances.
Whilst the defence were not called on extensively, Jake, Jas and Ella worked effectively to snub out any attacking moves with Ella in particular making some well timed tackles and keeping Emily from being particularly troubled in goal. Each of them passed effectively from the back and combined well with the midfield with Harvey, Charlotte and Lauren making good possession on the wings.
All the goals came from our forward line showing how well they worked with each other. Oli Burton scored a hat trick, there was also a brace from Will McBride and one from Tate.
