Beavers vs Bowdon A

Christmas came early for Timperley Beavers with everyone leaving Bowdon very happy with a 4-0 win.

From front to back the team played with great energy and determination and completely controlled the game against strong opposition.
A fine individual goal from Oli Burton set the team on their way, dribbling through the Bowdon defence before slotting a well taken reverse stick shot. Wilf Roberts tackled ferociously against a much taller centre mid player and he also brought his forwards into the game well. Roisin Driscoll, Jaz Lord and Jake Caborn marshalled the Bowdon attack meaning that Ben had few direct shots to deal with. However, he must be very happy with a clean sheet. Rory Driscoll played with his usual high energy and was rewarded with a very well taken hat trick.

Midfield ran the game with great work throughout from Hamish, Charlotte and Josie interchanging and adapting to different positions throughout the game. Kamol and Luke both played wide and made a number of eye catching runs. As always Callum played his strong and direct game and made some impressive runs from deep defence and into the opposition half.

Special note should be made of the excellent discipline exhibited by the whole team in the face of some unpleasant provocation from certain elements of the opposition. However, after the game the Bowdon captain approached one of the Timperley coaching team to offer his apologies and deserves great credit for his politeness and humility.
