Timperley girls under 16 vs. Lymm girls under 16

On Sunday the 22nd of September 2013, Timperley under 16 girls had an friendly EH cup match against Lymm girls and Belper girls. We Beat Lymm 5-0 But we should of won by a lot more. The team was: Fiona, Kirsty, Annie, Victoria, Blanca,Eleanor, Natalie, Grace, Alice, Ellie, Ciara, Phoebe, Talya and Katrina.

In the beginning of the game against Lymm we got off to a quick start by scoring a goal in the first few minutes. This made Lymm think twice as we kept up the pace and kept on working at it. We had many chances but just couldn't get them in the goal.

The whole team played really well especially in the final 10 minutes where we completely took control of the game and the ball did not enter our half. At the start of the game our presses were really good and we held our ground which unnerved the opposition causing them to make silly mistakes which we took advantage of. We got lots of shots which all should of gone in but sadly didn't. The first goal was buy Fiona scoring from the top of the D. Later on in the match Katrina scored another great goal. Our other goal scores were Natalie from the top of the D bagging another goal, Victoria scored a brilliant goal, Katrina and Talya also scoring.

At half time we had really got into the game and getting lots of shots on goal but they just weren't going in. They were going wide, or straight to a player or the goal keeper. Also we didn't get on the re-bounds . So got barely any deflections. When we started the next half we started quite slowly and took a while getting back into the game. This meant they were able to get a few quick breaks. But our great defence stopped anything from happening and helped us get back on the attack.

Overall it was a great victory and the team worked very hard together and deserved to win.
