4. Safeguarding

Timperley Hockey Club successfully attained reaccreditation to the England Hockey ClubMark in Spring 2022. ClubMark alongside EH best practice provide the framework for our approach and commitment to safeguarding.

Our approach also covers Timperley Talent Academy.

Our Vision is:

To provide a positive hockey experience for all in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment to enable everyone to fulfil their hockey potential and a life long love of the sport

Our commitment and approach to safeguarding underpins the delivery of our vision. Safeguarding at THC covers young people (U18) and adults at risk in hockey. Timperley Sports Club also has a Safeguarding Policy that links to the THC policy and procedures.

Our Welfare Officers are on hand to support, guide and advise and manage any safeguarding related matters. Any concerns and issues should be forwarded to one of our Welfare Officers, who can be contacted confidentially (see Pitchero contact details and on the hockey noticeboard)
