First session for Year 3-7 this Sunday (11:00 - 12:30) - IMPORTANT pre arrival information for players / parents please read.

We cant wait to welcome our academy players (years 3 -7) back this Sunday (11:00 - 12:30), after a successful start with our Years 8-11 on Tuesday evening. Thanks to everyone who has completed the EH Agreements and out own Return to Play online Forms. Things are a bit different this season to help keep everyone safe - see our previous Academy - Important Return to Play Information Update . Cubs (Reception to Year 2) will be starting back on Sunday 20th September.

Your child will receive a Pitchero invite to join a specific training group for Sunday IF you have filled in all the relevant forms (If not see previous update and follow links and complete). You must accept their invite on Pitchero and Sign In on the day. This information is to support reporting track and trace information to England Hockey.

PLAYERS MUST NOT COME TO THE CLUB IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD AN INVITE OR COMPLETED THE EH PARTICIPATION FORM - please get in touch if you have a problem - message Anna Mawby on Pitchero or email timperleyhc@gmail.com and we will get you set up ASAP.

Many people have given up hours to ensure the safe return of the academy so players and parent/carers must do their part. Your coaches are volunteers and we must remember that training could not take place with out them so please respect all our wonderful volunteers.
Please see Sarah Williams about kit orders and information on academy fees and subs for the season. Sarah Williams and Katie Evans will be signing in all players on Sunday. Our THC Covid Officer,Andrew Foster (Fozzy) will also be on site to answer any parents questions and ensure everything runs smoothly as everyone gets used to the 'new normal'

Please read and follow the following'Rules' so we can keep safe and get the hockey back on:

- Do not arrive to register before 10:45am
- Wear a dark or Timperley training top and bring a light coloured top to put over the top as a bib ( we can not use the bibs at the moment)
- Go to the designated 'player zones' for each training group (near the clubhouse) and player MUST SIGN IN on arrival and wait for instructions of where to go (no going directly onto the pitches)
- Check which group they are in, Rio (Tim and Perley Groups), Tokyo or GK's (we'll be sharing more news about the new names for training groups soon!)
- NOTE there are other sections using before the Academy and we must ensure we wait out side the pitches (players and parents) socially distanced to allow other groups to leave the pitch areas before anyone goes near or on the pitches

Parents - please help remind players of the basic rule BEFORE they come to the club to help our volunteers:

- Do Not come to training or the Club is you (parent or players) have Covid Symptoms, are awaiting a test result (or for anyone else in your household) or are self isolating
- Bring a mask to wear when not playing if you wish
- No picking up the hockey balls at any time (use a stick or foot)
- No chewing Gum before, during or after sessions
- No spitting on the pitch - this will mean hockey stops and the player have to clean the pitch
- Name all equipment. Bring your named stick bag into the pitch and find a fence post to put it at for the session. Name your stick and water bottle and clothing.
- bring a names water bottle for breaks
- All players to bring hand sanitiser and use it at the break times.
- Go to the loo before you come to the Club to reduce queues and delays
- Social distancing when not playing - during breaks, before and after sessions for all players

Parents/carers do not enter the pitch, or stand around the gates and keep social distanced[b]. Please help us clear the pitches promptly after sessions - parents to wait in the player zomes to collect players not by the gates and leave asap to keep the area free and keep social distancing !
The Bar will be open for external sales of hot and cold drinks (access via the decking)
Walk to the club is you can or cycle. Ideally park off site if you can and walk through to the club.

The Club will be operating a One Way System and Wood Lane gate will be open. If dropping off players please do not drive up to the club house and attempt to turn - drop off in the Stockport Road Car Park at the end of the building.

We have alot of people on site and need everyones help to help keep the overall site safe. This weekend there will be lacrosse, football and junior cricket on in the morning and senior cricket and hockey straight after the academy sessions.

We will be sharing details about how to pay 2020-21 Academy Fees and other start the season admin over the next few days - including how to pay on line.

Most of all enjoy your first session

Unfortunately I am not there as I am playing in the Over 35 National Final in Nottingham and Mark Talbot is at Performance Centre as Lead Coach. Albert will be the lead coach on Sunday.
